One of the world’s most important string quartets, the Zehetmair Quartett, has performed in leading concert halls in the USA, Japan and Europe. Its members are frequent guests at prestigious international festivals such as the Edinburgh Festival, the Helsinki Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. Furthermore, the Zehetmair Quartett records exclusively for the ECM label and has won many prestigious awards, including the Deutsche Schallplattenkritik Award, Gramophone’s Record of the Year (2003), Diapason d’Or d’Année, the Dutch Edison Classical Music Award (2004), the Belgian Caecilia Award and the Klara Award. 
They will perform iconic works from the string quartet repertoire of Schubert, Brahms and Sibelius on the stage of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
