The Thessaloniki Piano Festival, with the support of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, showcases talented Greek pianists through the Panhellenic Piano Competition. The competition takes place every two years, is open to young pianists up to 27 years old, and is conducted in three cycles.
The winners of the competition were chosen from among 38 contestants. In this concert, two of the top three winners of the competition present a particularly interesting program, including Schumann’s Sonata No. 2 and Beethoven’s iconic Hammerklavier Sonata.
The next competition is scheduled for Spring 2025.
