GIORGOS CHATZINASSIOS & STEFANOS KORKOLIS: TOGETHER AGAIN

The concert of 30/3 is held in cooperation with the “Thermaides” Association.
 
35 years ago, Giorgos Chatzinassios was already an accomplished composer and pianist, with numerous popular radio hits and recitals in landmark venues abroad, such as the Carnegie Hall in New York and the Concert House in Vienna. Stefanos Korkolis was a young pianist and composer with impressive studies in Paris who was beginning to provide the first signs of an important career in the local pop scene and Greek music.
The performance that they ventured to set up at Taboo Club, bringing their two pianos side by side, made history and was loved by the audience, but was also recorded in the discography, thanks to the release of the live album Gi afto sou leo pame (1991).
So now it’s time for these two to meet again to produce one of the greatest musical events. The audience will have the chance to enjoy them Together Again - as their new partnership is titled - in a show featuring all their greatest hits, which will additionally include Giorgos Chatzinassios’s suites for piano and orchestra (based on the film and TV themes he has composed in his long career), as well as various orchestral pieces by Stefanos Korkolis.
