What happens when the warm sound of the viola meets the tenderness of the clarinet?
How does it feel when two sensitive, lonely sounds of a string and a wind instrument accompany the polyphony of the piano?
Three renowned soloists, Elias Livieratos on viola, Spiros Mourikis on clarinet and Nefeli Mousoura on piano, will give us the answer, embracing the music-loving audience of the city with the enticing sounds of their instruments on the Lovers’ Day.
Inspired by the romantic story of Romeo and Juliet, the three virtuosos will take us on a journey through the musical paths of love and romance, as captured through the music of Prokofiev and Schumann, Debussy and Bruch.
