Through a contemporary view, both in terms of direction and performance, the theatrical performance VIA/ZO outlines a heavy, difficult subject concealed in the silence of all those who experience abuse in any way and at any price. It voices the need to participate and react to violence through intense emotions that culminate throughout the play. It conveys a clear message that the viewer will take away with them, no longer able to ignore it.
The play presents difficult, demanding, disarming, and full of intense emotional monologues! They detail stories of violence and abuse based on true testimonies of victims who have experienced physical, psychological, sexual, and verbal VIOLENCE. These are stories that some people managed to impart since they managed to escape by breaking the cycle of silence, but also cruel and brutal stories that made the headlines!
The theatrical performance VIA/ZO gives voice to every woman, man and child who seeks help, who feels desperate and unable to cope with incidents of violence and sends a brave message.
Because abuse concerns us all!
