The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra rings down the curtain on the 58th Dimitria Festival, hosting in our city the prestigious Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the most significant symphonic ensemble of our neighboring country, with a history spanning over 130 years. The two orchestras join forces on stage, marking the beginning of a multi-dimensional and long-term collaboration, aimed at creating a bridge of cooperation between the two cultural entities and developing their artistic creation in multiple ways, with the ultimate goal of strengthening Greek-Bulgarian relations through culture. The renowned Bulgarian conductor Nayden Todorov will be on the podium.
