DIMITRIS MARAMIS: FROM DARK LOVE TO EROTOKRITOS

Having marked a distinguished path and achieved significant artistic success through his large-scale musical theater works: Erotokritos (commissioned by the National Opera, 2017), The Haunted (commissioned by the Athens Concert Hall, 2019), Captain Michalis (commissioned by the Region of Crete,2021) and Paligenesia (Rebirth-commissioned by the Region of Central Greece, 2021) as well as his record works Dark Love based on poems by Federico García Lorca (2004) and Emotional Age (2014), composer Dimitris Maramis alongside MOYSA- the Megaron Youth Symphony Choir and several acclaimed performers with whom he collaborates on a recurrent basis will present a selection of his song cycles and musical theater pieces, spanning over eighteen years of his artistic creative path (2004-2022).
In a unique evening, the great performers of éntekhno Marios Frangoulis, Thodoris Voutsikakis, Eleni Dimopoulou, Mela Gerofoti and Nikos Kyrtsos will perform together with the composer and MOYSA. A musical journey of the composer whose raw material is the wealth of his melodies and the timeless verses of the poets he has set to music.
