NEW TALENTS IN CLASSICAL MUSIC

The Thessaloniki Friends of Music Society continues its highly successful events cycle entitled “New talents in Classical Music”, which is held in the premises of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.  In the world of classical music, reinvention is always considered vital in order to rekindle the interest of the audience. Every generation of musicians has its great talents. The new generation of musicians - who aspire to follow in the footsteps of famous soloists - has great perseverance, vigorously fighting to claim its personal space on the competitive music stage.
The Thessaloniki Friends of Music Society stands by the side of all these young musicians over the course of all these years, offering them the opportunity and the step to unfold their art at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. Thus, the best students aged 6 to 30 - “armed” with their bows, scores, hands or voices - display their musicality.
The events that have taken place so far within the framework of this cycle have been marked with remarkable success as they presented great musical talents and were extremely well-attended, which is highly encouraging for the response of the society of Thessaloniki to this initiative by the Thessaloniki Friends of Music Society.
