IN FORMAL COSTUME: NIKOS PORTOKALOGLOU

The event “In formal costume” is a radical artistic proposal of the Cultural Center of the Region of Central Macedonia which combines symphony orchestra and alternative artists and outlines their artistic portrait. It was first presented in Thessaloniki in October 2019 with Stamatis Kraounakis as its first guest, followed by Panos Mouzourakis two years later. This year, the exceptional songwriter Nikos Portokaloglou takes over. His Formal Costume will be diligently “sewn” by Thanasis Kolalas and will be accompanied by talented artists of our city. A musical evening with much-loved songs by Nikos Portokaloglou, as well as the songs that he himself loves and defined him as an artist. This year’s Formal Costume will be featuring MOYSA - Megaro Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
