RED BULL SYMPHONIC: 12th PITHIKOS & THESSALONIKI CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Recognized as one of the most pioneering artists of Greek hip-hop, 12os Pithikos is one of the most beloved Greek rappers; an artist that expresses the concerns of a generation that struggles to see its future.
Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra, with the chief conductor, Michalis Trachalios, unites its sounds with the hip-hop culture, presenting for the first time a different and original symphonic performance of the Greek rapper’s songs.
One could wonder how these two worlds can be combined. How could someone perform rap songs with symphonic music?
