The TSSO welcomes the award-winning Austrian soloist Wenzel Fuchs, principal clarinettist with the Berlin Philharmonic, who has won distinctions for his performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Minor, perhaps the most beautiful clarinet quartet that has ever been written. Another great Austrian composer, Bruckner, rounds off the programme of this concert with his grand Third Symphony, which is dedicated to Richard Wagner and is imbued with all the charm of the romantic period.
