Dimitra Galani presents a tribute to the love song, a journey through time and the world. A musical journey through the words of love of songs we have adored. Having completed or participated in major projects in the past few years (Chronos, Xarhakos Tribute to Vamvakaris, performances with the Vassilis Tsitsanis Orchestra), Dimitra Galani appears at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in “another” mood, more pop, more electric and clearly more international.
Working with the great musicians of the younger generation who comprise the group and with whom she has shared the stage for the past twelve years, Galani creates a musical setting that is concerned purely with love and travel, a game of emotions and the senses. This band will surprise us once again with unexpected adaptations, offering a new approach to older material and bringing to light some of the most beautiful love songs of every era, from the Greek and world repertoire: songs that are eternal international standards (Brazilian, Italian, English, French and mainly Greek) and which speak directly to our heart, body, mind and emotions: love and pop songs – in the broadest sense of the term.
