SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA & MIXED CHOIR OF DMSA (UNIVERSITY OF MACEDONIA)

This is the 22nd year since the foundation of the Department of Musical Science & Art (DMSA). During this time it has established itself in the field of tertiary musical education by providing high-quality studies that combine scientific training with artistic competence. The core of its operation has always been music in action, as reflected in instrumental and vocal performances, conduction of ensembles and composition/poetics. DMSA instrumental and vocal ensembles stand out for their virtuosity, the maturity, variety and range of their repertoire, but mainly for being an integral part of the course programme. The concert features soloist students who were won the musical interpretation contest 2017.
