John Cage: The Keyboards A unique tribute with compositions for all of the great experimenter’s keyboard instruments, with works such as:
Bacchanale: The first composition for prepared piano, an instrument created by Cage himself in 1940. The atmospheric Dream and In a landscape for piano The Suite for Toy Piano. HPSCHD for harpsichord, magnetic tape and video projections of the Apollo space programmes, which were taking place while the composer was forming the idea for the work. His minimalist Souvenir for church organ is one of the composer’s last works. And Water Music, a theatrical “performance” piece for a pianist.
