CONCERT OF THE DMSA WIND ORCHESTRA (CONCERT BAND)

The Wind Instrument Ensembles of the Department of Musical Science & Art (DMSA) of the University of Macedonia are intensely involved in artistic work and they support the actions of the Wind Instrument Ensemble Workshop (“PNOES” [WAFTS] of the Department. Their presence in the music scene of Thessaloniki has bridged a large gap in the field of wind instrument scholarly and jazz music, while the Ensembles offer the opportunity to DSMA and other students in town to train next to eminent soloists and Department tutors. Their repertory includes the most important works of classical music (original or quality adaptations) and jazz.
