Dear colleagues
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 12th Congress of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine which will be held in Thessaloniki Concert Hall, from the 27th to the 30th of September 2012.
After many years, the leading scientific event of the Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Medicine of Northern Greece (EAEIBE) will once again take place in Thessaloniki. At times of cultural brutality, the conference is hosted in a space that accommodates the culture while is overlooking the endless blue. The 12th conference coincides with the centennial of the liberation of Thessaloniki from the Ottoman Dominion and is being held in times of contemporary enslavement with memoranda, economic degradation and depreciation of institutions and moral values.
Focusing on the latest scientific developments, without overlooking the basic sciences, will try to cover the broad spectrum of our specialty as we understand and practice it, beyond the narrow confines of the operating theaters. The scientific program of the conference will include refresher courses, round tables, lectures and clinical workshops relevant to the different scientific fields of our specialty. Moreover, the social events of the Congress will give you the opportunity to renew old acquaintances and make new ones.
With the belief that knowledge is the driving force in our daily reality, we aspire the Congress to be a pole of scientific debate and productive dialogue, useful in our clinical work.
The success of the congress requires our active and vigorous participation with ideas, recommendations and scientific papers.
