A weekend of acquaintance with jazz and its younger musicians, through workshops, seminars, open rehearsal and jam sessions for everyone.

- 17.00 - 18.30: Workshop for small groups that will cover the basic instruments (piano, bass, voice)
- 19.00 - 20.30: Workshop for all: What is jazz and how was it born?
- 21.00 - 22.30: Jazz Now! – 1st part. Young jazz musicians explain and play their music along with their colleagues.
- 22.30 - 23.30: Jam session for the participants and musicians of Thessaloniki, under the supervision of the jazz program professors.

- 21.00 - 22.30: Jazz Now! – 2nd part. Open rehearsal and concert with the participants and of the workshops and the public.
- 22.30 - 23.30: Jam session for the participants and musicians of Thessaloniki, under the supervision of the jazz program professors.

Educational part: Workshops for everyone based on the history of jazz, the way it is learned, the way it is played and parallel short seminars on its basic instruments. With the participation of professors and students of the Ionian University.
Concerts and presentations of new compositions: At the concerts, the protagonists are the younger jazz musicians, students and graduates of the Program of Jazz and Improvisation of the Ionian University, who present their new music in an informal small festival. Before the concerts, the young artists, in an informal and friendly meeting with the audience, present their music and show their special techniques and aesthetic preferences.
Public participation: The workshops and short seminars’ participants also prepare for a small or symbolic participation to the final Sunday concert. At the same concert, after an open rehearsal, the public can participate, too!
