Maciej Baranowski

Maciej Baranowski was born in Zielona Góra, Poland. In 2007, he began his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts under Christian Friedrich Dallmann. He has already performed with such renowned orchestras as the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Oslo Philharmonic.
From 2011 to 2013, he was a scholarship recipient at the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. Maciej Baranowski has won numerous awards, including First Prizes at the Polish Horn Competition in Łódź and the International Music Competition in Sannicandro di Bari, Italy. Additionally, he received an award at the International Music Competition “Prague Spring” in 2007 and a Second Prize at the International Instrumental Competition in Markneukirchen in 2012.
Since 2014, he has served as the Associate Principal Horn of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.
