Konstantinos Giovanis

Konstantinos Giovanis was born in Corfu in 1983 and had his first music lessons in the Philharmonic Society of Corfu. From October of 2001 he is principal oboist of Athens City Symphony Orchestra. In July of 2005, he graduated from the Conservatory of Athens with top marks and honour with Claude Chieleut. He took part in seminars with Maurice Bourgue, Hansjorg Schellenberger and Christian Schneider. In 2000, he won the first price of the National Competition of Woodwinds under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. He has appeared as soloist with Athens State Symphony Orchestra, Athens City Symphony Orchestra, Athens Philarmonia Orchestra etc. He cooperated with most of the orchestras of Greece. He is a member of Ventus Ensemble and Trio Arundos.
