Emile Serper
Composer
Emile Serper is a composer and cellist entering his fourth year of undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, he studies composition with professors Cindy Cox and Ken Ueno. Before coming to Berkeley, Emile studied composition with Professor David Conte at the Pre-College of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he won the Kris Getz Composer’s Scholarship Award in 2016 and 2018 and was awarded the Victor Salvo Scholarship in 2021. He works as a music assistant with Kairos Youth Choir, which has performed his music throughout the Bay Area and on international tours in Greece.
