Alexander Kuralionok
Accordeonist
Alexander Kuralionok belongs to the leading concert accordionists of the younger generation. He studied with Valentin Chaban at the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk, graduating with distinction. In 2003 he moved to Munich where he completed his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts receiving his Master’s degree.
Alexander Kuralionok is a prizewinner at numerous international competitions, including first prize in the Coupe Suisse de l’Accordéon and in the Gasteig Competition, Munich, third prize in the Città di Castelfidardo Competition and second prize in the Deutscher Akkordeon Musikpreis. A regular member of the Kammeroper München, he is also a frequent guest of many symphony orchestras. Kuralionok is devoted to contemporary music and is a prolific arranger and composer.
