Evangelos Poulinas

Evangelos Poulinas holds an MFA in dance from the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, a Diploma from the Athens State School of Dance and a Bachelor from the Physical Education Department, Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki.
He has been credited scholarships from numerous prestigious foundations like: Alexandros S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, New York University, Greek State Scholarship Foundation and DanceWEB Europe.
As a creator Evangelos has shown work in Asia, the U.S.A. and Europe and as a performer he has danced creations by: Johannes Wieland, Maxine Doyle, Katarzyna Gdaniec and Marco Cantalupo, Marcel Leemann, Constanza Macras, Konstandinos Rigos, Nigel Charnock, Jasmin Vardimon, Wim Vandekeybus, among others. As a teacher Evangelos has taught in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Germany, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, U.S.A. and Sweden.
Since 2010, Evangelos co-directs with Christina Mertzani «one small step» International Contemporary Dance Festival, Corfu / Greece.
