Grace Mo

Described as “an excellent pianist, combining technical wizardry with impressive attention to detail”  Grace is acclaimed and in demand as both soloist and chamber musician.
Born in Taiwan, Grace started to play the piano at the age of six. In 1994 she moved to Canada and went on study piano performance as her Master Degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. In 2003 she won the most prestigious national award in Canada - the Canada Council for the Arts Grant - and stepped into the artistic scene in London. At the Guildhall School of Music and Drama she studied with Senior Professor Joan Havill, where she held the Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship, the Postgraduate Piano Fellowship, Myra Hess Award Scholarship, and the Postgraduate Artist Diploma.
Travelling extensively to perform for audiences from around the world, Grace appears on the stage of major concert venues. To name a few - Barbican Music Hall, Cadogan Hall (London), the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society (Vilnius), the Concertgebow (Amsterdam), the Grand Hall (St Petersburg), the Martinu Hall (Prague), Palau de la Musica Catalana (Barcelona), the Concert Hall (Andorra). Most recently she was recorded live and broadcasted on British National Television ITV and Lithuanian National Radio and Television. She has also featured in international music festivals such as the International Wimbledon Music Festival and the Fringe Music Festival, kindly presented by the Chopin Society.
In addition to her solo career, Grace  is an active chamber musician frequently collaborating with members of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and other eminent soloists. She has been awarded the title of 'The Best Concertmaster' at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in St. Petersburg for her chamber music work and musical interpretations.
Her vast repertoire, versatility, and passion lead her to promote music in the education sector. She regularly works with students from the leading London music colleges, including the Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
As a keen promoter of musical education, she has been invited to perform for the LSO Discovery projects presented by Rachel Leach, as well as various educational concerts in Amsterdam. Furthermore, Grace is passionate about charity work and her fundraising projects include concerts on behalf of Practical Action, as well as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
