Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat

Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat played his first concerto with orchestra at the age of 13, and gave his first recital at the age of 15.
After his Prize of the CNSMD of Lyon, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat is allowed unanimously in Inprovement Cycle in Paris.
Laureate of international competitions (Spedidam Pize, Darius Milhaud Prize), he has since been invited to perform in many festivals in France and abroad.
In September 2000, his "live" recording of the complete 24 Studies of Chopin, incorporated into the magazine Piano Le Magazine, is acclaimed by critics.
Since then, his career results in the main countries of Europe, Asia and America.
He can be heard regularly in recital or as soloist with orchestra, or in the context of chamber music formations. He plays including side recognized partners such as Pascal Amoyel, Vadim Tchijik, Philippe Bernold, Emmanuelle Bertrand, David Bismuth, Nicolas Dautricourt, Florent Héau, Archimede Quartett or Hugo Ticciati.
In recent years, France Television (France 2, France 3 and TLM) filmed several of his concerts.
He was also invited to perform several times in live on France Musique, but especially in 2012, with the famous French show woman Anne Roumanoff, as part of the day about the famous writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
Artistic director alongside Karine Locatelli of the Association Divertimento, producing concerts, he ensures the musical program of the festival “Musicales en Tricastin”. He also is artistic director of the Season of Ecully Musical.
His discography includes several other CD dedicated to Beethoven (a CD with Sonatas and Variations, and A triple CD with 9 Sonatas), Schumann and Mussorgsky
(Pictures at an Exhibition), Liszt (including the Sonata), or "The Slave Soul" (recorded "live" with the great mezzo-Russian soprano Elena Sommer).
In november 2014, the Carnaval of the animals of Saint-Saëns (CD recorded by France Musique) is published by the editions Albin Michel.
