Kelibi Anis, is considered as an excellent violinist and rabab player in Tunisia and throughout the Arab world. Furthermore, he is an Assistant Professor of Musicology University and a Ph.D. candidate and also an instructor at the High Institute of Music in Tunis.
He has participated in major music event both in Tunisia and Arab countries, and in Europe and Asia, such as la Magie du violon ( 2007), Maquamet ( 2008), Cordes et Ailes ( 2009), Chant de la corde ( 2009) and also Ma Vie pour L’art ( 2010).
His contribution to the musical life is very significant and so far he has already received many awards. Specifically, the International Prize for his interpretation and improvisation on the violin at the Arabic Music Conference and Festival in Cairo Opera House in the 14th (2005) and the 18th session (2009) respectively, the National Medal of Cultural Merit (2006), the award for the best instrumentalist in Tunisia (2006), the prize of the Arab Music Festival Radio for instrumental synthesis in Kuwait (2007), the award of the Festival of Music in Tunisia in the contest of instrumental synthesis (18th session 2007 and 19th session 2008) and also the prize of the creativity of young talents of Tunisia (2008).
