Anastasia has been Artistic Director of Theatre Lab Company since 1998. Training includes a degree in English and American Literature, the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, École Philippe Gaulier and workshops with La Mama Theatre, Odin Theatre, Complicite and Forum Theatre. Recent work includes: Antigone (Riverside Studios, London, 2010; International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama, Cyprus, 2011); The Battle of Babylondon (Site Specific Project); Medusa: The Beheaded Lover (Shunt- Site Specific Project); The Fall of the House of Usher (Old Cholmeley Boy’s Club—Site Specific Project); Kiss the Shadow (Soho Theatre, London, Royal Festival Hall, London), and Ghost from a Perfect Place (National Theatre of Northern Greece) for which she was nominated for the prestigiousTheatre Awards of Greece-Union of Greek Critics for Drama and Music Awards in the Emerging Theatre Directors category in 2009. Earlier theatre credits include: Velvet Scratch antium. 00 AD.
