10th CHILDREN'S-YOUTH CHOIRS FESTIVAL

The 10th anniversary edition of the Festival of Children's-Youth Choirs Festival of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall is expected to be more dazzling than ever before. Over 30 children’s and youth choirs from all over Greece will participate as will, for the first time, two guest conductors, Sanna Valvanne of Finland, composer and director of children’s choirs, and Hirvo Surva of Estonia, director of the Estonia National Opera Boys' Choir. The two guest conductors will, each in their own unique way, lead the choir workshops through the magical world of choral song, culminating in two concerts at the anniversary festival.
The festival will be framed by three evenings of choral music by selected children’s, youth and school choirs.
The Festival’s Artistic Director is Maria Emma Meligopoulou.
