Leonid Kogan was perhaps the most influential performer of all time in the art of the violin and one of the greatest stars of 20th-century music in the field of musical performance.
Leonid Kogan’s art, which has influenced generations of string instrumentalists around the world, is a major milestone in the history of musical performance and a unique legacy for the world’s musical heritage.
The Thessaloniki Concert Hall honors this major musical personality and the centenary of his birth by organizing a grand anniversary tribute. The tribute will bring together the world’s greatest violin stars to the city of Thessaloniki, offering the audience an unparalleled experience of musical art equal only to the greatest festivals of classical music abroad.
The renowned violinists Leonidas Kavakos, Viktoria Mullova and Augustin Hadelich will light up the stage of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall for three unforgettable concerts, which will remain forever engraved in the memory of music lovers.
