PRSENTED BY L. KONGALIDIS: TRIBUTE TO CHARLES AZNAVOUR
Organizer: THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL
Aznavour has been the most popular French singer in Greece for the last 60 years. A special detail. When the members of his family, who were of Armenian descent, tried to escape the Turks in the 1920s, they managed to reach Thessaloniki and settle in Harilaou district, where the local residents welcomed them with love.
The program includes a screening of a 114-minute concert performed by the artist in 1987 at the Palais de Conge in Paris.
