WE DANCE FOR LIFE

For the 16th consecutive year, Kostas Nikolaidis’ “Eknefsis” Model Dance Art Group, “Kyklos” Centre of Traditional Dance Studies with dance teacher Kyriakos Moysidis, the Thessaloniki Dance Group with teacher Sakis Paliogiannis and “Chorostates” Cultural Association with teacher Apostolis Skrekas lay down a culturally rich programme of Greek tradition at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
They will come together in one place for one purpose: to transmit the message of life through sounds, lyrics and rhythms, dressed in costumes that have the “aroma” of history and culture, that have the “aroma” of Greece from coast to coast.
This group of dance friends comes together again in what is by now a seminal event for the public of Thessaloniki, with a charitable purpose. All together, hand in hand, we serve the values and ideals of culture and offer a dynamic presence in the effort and struggle of our fellow man. The message is both simple and complex: through the dance cycle, all together offer a "helping hand" and invite to their celebration all those who are fighting for life.
Throughout all these years, the participants in this event have made material as well as moral contributions to various bodies and associations, in support of their social outreach work.
