It was just a word ... FREEDOM, the one that brought NO to the lips of the Greeks.
In this anniversary concert curated by Lina Nikolakopoulou, we will remember this historically heroic moment once again, through songs and short narrations that will allow us to confront memories, similarities and differences with the current reality.
The Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra collaborates with Thodoris Voutsikakis, while Eleni Dimopoulou participates in the concert. Small texts by Greek authors describing the harsh reality and the brave stance of the people of the time will be read.
* The title of the event is a verse by Kostoula Mitropoulou from the song entitled The road, in music by Manos Loizos.
