First stop: The Baroque Period
The Thessaloniki Concert Hall invites you to the premiere of the educational music concerts
The Music Time Capsule, designed for students from the fourth grade of primary school to the second grade of junior high school.
This new, modular music program for students takes young audiences on a fascinating journey back in time, exploring the distinctive features of music in each era, the socio-historical context that shaped the art of the time, the greatest composers, and the most renowned musical works ever written. Along the way, students will also explore elements associated with each musical period such as elements of organology and technological innovations from each period.
Our musical time travelers will be guided through the enchanting world of the 17th and 18th centuries, experiencing the Baroque era and the music of legendary composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, and Pachelbel.
And who knows? They might just surprise us with their own presence...
