Bright Future is a contemporary dance performance that came to life after the research that was carried out by the choreographer and performer Evangelos Poulinas and his dancers, revolving around time and expectations. More specifically, it is about our preoccupation with the future and the extent to which this preoccupation affects the present. What is the driving force that leads us to plan and strive to control our future? How can we come to terms with the unknown and embrace the unexpected? The show is a creation featuring three dancers from Greece and Germany, who will be invited to seek absolute perfection, to experience the limits of their own physicality, exploring the ideal in various situations. They will wander through situations of success, grandeur, as well as of frustration and conflict with themselves and those surrounding them.
