Drawing on the centenary celebration of the founding of the Republic of Estonia (1918-2018), Estonian Glasperlenspiel (Glass Bead Game) Sinfonietta has been touring European major cities, among which Thessaloniki, in the framework of its long standing cooperation with Greek artists. On the Concert Hall stage it will collaborate with renowned Serres pianist Alexandros Sarakenidis, an artist who combines dynamism and skill. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy classical repertoire masterpieces, as well as pieces by Estonian composers, such as Arvo Pärt, one of the world’s most important living composers of religious music. The concert will be accompanied by a choir from Estonia.
